Isooctane (2,2,4-Trimethylpentane)
Isooctane (2,2,4-trimethylpentane, CAS 540-84-1) at 99.9% purity, with aromatics under 200 ppm and sulphur at 5 ppm. The 100 point of the octane scale, and the solvent specified in standard oil-analysis methods such as acetic acid–isooctane peroxide value.

Isohexane
Isohexane (CAS 107-83-5) at 98% branched C6 content, principally 2- and 3-methylpentane, with n-hexane held to 1.5% and benzene to 1 ppm. A fast-evaporating hexane replacement where n-hexane exposure must be designed out.

Dichloromethane (Methylene Chloride)
Dichloromethane (methylene chloride, CAS 75-09-2) at 99% minimum purity. A dense, low-boiling, practically non-flammable chlorinated solvent for pharmaceutical extraction, polycarbonate production and industrial degreasing, supplied in 250 kg drums or ISO tanks.

Dimethylformamide (DMF)
N,N-Dimethylformamide (CAS 68-12-2) at 99.9% minimum, with formic acid, dimethylamine and methanol each held to 10 ppm and conductivity to 2 µS/cm. The polar aprotic solvent behind PU synthetic leather, acrylic fibre spinning and pharmaceutical synthesis.

Dimethylacetamide (DMAc)
N,N-Dimethylacetamide (CAS 127-19-5) at 99.9% minimum with water at 0.01%, iron at 0.05 mg/kg and dimethylamine at 1 ppm. More stable than DMF, it is the spinning solvent for spandex and aramid fibres and a casting solvent for membranes.

Diisopropyl Ether (IPE)
Diisopropyl ether (CAS 108-20-3) at 99% minimum purity, a low-boiling extraction solvent for pharmaceuticals and acetic acid recovery. It forms peroxides readily, so it is normally supplied stabilised and must be stored and tested accordingly.

Petroleum Ether
Petroleum ether (CAS 8032-32-4), a light aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent rather than a true ether, supplied at 99% minimum. Specified by boiling range, it is the classic extraction solvent for fat determination, natural products and laboratory chromatography.

Methyl tert-Butyl Ether (MTBE)
Methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE, CAS 1634-04-4) at 99% minimum, with methanol held to 0.05%. A peroxide-resistant replacement for diethyl ether in extraction, a feedstock for high-purity isobutylene and a gasoline octane component.

Ethyl Acetate
Ethyl acetate (CAS 141-78-6) at 99% minimum, the fast-evaporating, low-toxicity ester solvent of printing inks, flexible packaging adhesives and coatings, and a lowest-concern residual solvent in pharmaceutical extraction.

Dimethyl Sulfoxide (DMSO)
Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO, CAS 67-68-5) at 99% minimum, a highly polar aprotic solvent of low toxicity for synthesis, electronics cleaning and fibre spinning. It freezes at about 18.5 °C, so storage and handling need planning in cool conditions.

Methanol
Methanol (CAS 67-56-1) at 99% minimum, the simplest alcohol and the feedstock for formaldehyde, acetic acid and MTBE, as well as a process solvent. Toxic by every route and burning with an almost invisible flame, it needs disciplined handling.

Ethanol
Ethanol (CAS 64-17-5) in two grades: absolute, for water-sensitive chemistry and formulation, and 95%, close to the water azeotrope, for extraction, cleaning and general solvent use. Supplied in 160 kg drums or ISO tanks.

Isopropanol (IPA)
Isopropanol (IPA, CAS 67-63-0) at 99.9% minimum, the standard cleaning solvent of electronics manufacture and a process solvent for pharmaceuticals, coatings and inks. Diluted to about 70%, it becomes the familiar surface disinfectant.

Epichlorohydrin (ECH)
Epichlorohydrin (ECH, CAS 106-89-8) at 99.9% minimum purity with water held to 0.02%. The reactive chlorinated epoxide from which bisphenol A epoxy resins, paper wet-strength resins and water treatment polyamines are made.

Triethylamine
Triethylamine (CAS 121-44-8) at 99.5% minimum, the tertiary amine base used to scavenge acid in pharmaceutical and agrochemical synthesis and as the gas-phase catalyst in foundry cold-box core making.

Gadobutrol (API)
Gadobutrol (CAS 770691-21-9), the macrocyclic, non-ionic gadolinium contrast agent API, at an assay of 98.0-102.0% on the anhydrous basis, with free gadolinium held to 0.0003%. For MRI contrast-agent formulation.

Cyclen (1,4,7,10-Tetraazacyclododecane)
Cyclen (1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane, CAS 294-90-6) at 98% minimum, the twelve-membered macrocycle from which DOTA, DO3A and the macrocyclic gadolinium contrast agents are built. Supplied as a white to off-white powder.

Cyclen Tetrahydrochloride
Cyclen tetrahydrochloride (CAS 10045-25-7), the stable salt form of the cyclen macrocycle, at an assay of 98.0-102.0% with chloride at 40-45%. The easier-to-store route into DOTA, DO3A and macrocyclic chelator synthesis.

DOTA (Tetraxetan)
DOTA (tetraxetan, CAS 60239-18-1) at 98% minimum purity, the octadentate macrocyclic chelator that forms the gadolinium complex of gadoterate and anchors radiometals in DOTA-based radiopharmaceuticals.

DO3A Trisodium Salt
DO3A trisodium salt (CAS 217973-03-0), the cyclen triacetate with one ring nitrogen left free: the branch point for the macrocyclic contrast agents gadoteridol and gadobutrol. Specification agreed with the quotation.
