    Reverse Ester Methyltin

Reverse Ester Methyltin – Specialty chemicals product from Bio Green Chem

    About This Product

Reverse ester methyltin describes an organotin stabiliser in which the ester linkage of the mercaptoester ligand is inverted relative to conventional methyltin mercaptides. The rearrangement changes the way the ligand fragments during processing and lowers the mercaptan odour and extractable residue associated with standard mercaptide chemistry. That distinction is what puts this chemistry into potable-water pipe. The stabilising mechanism is the same substitution of labile chlorine plus HCl scavenging that any methyltin performs, but the extraction behaviour of the by-products is the property that drinking-water approvals actually test. Reverse ester grades were developed to meet those approvals while keeping the efficiency of tin. DX-580 is supplied as a light yellow to clear oil liquid, packed into iron or plastic drum, IBC tote or customised packaging. Its declared applications span PVC-M high impact pipe, UPVC drinking water pipe, drainage pipe, electrical conduit, communication pipe, twin-wall corrugated pipe, flat wall pipe, grid pipe and rigid sealing strip.
