About This Product
Plant-based odour remover is a formulated blend of essential oils and plant-derived extracts with surfactants and a carrier, supplied as a concentrate for dilution and application by spray, mist or dosing system. It occupies the middle ground between masking and biological treatment, and understanding that placement is what makes it useful. A pure masking agent adds fragrance over the odour, and the result is both smells at once. A microbial product removes the source but takes days to establish a population and needs an environment that supports it. A plant-based neutraliser works on the odour molecules themselves: certain terpenes and aldehydes from plant oils react with or bind to amines, mercaptans and sulphides, forming larger non-volatile compounds that cannot reach the nose, and the effect is immediate. That makes it the appropriate choice for intermittent or airborne odour, at a transfer station, a tank vent or during a waste movement, where there is no continuous substrate for bacteria to work on. It is typically applied through vapour-phase misting lines or as a direct spray. It is used in waste transfer and landfill odour control, vapour-phase misting systems, industrial and agricultural odour, and in commercial cleaning. Bio Green Chem supplies plant-based odour products to specification on active content, dilution rate, pH, flash point, appearance and odour profile.
