About This Product
Magnesium ascorbyl phosphate is the magnesium salt of L-ascorbic acid phosphate, a water-soluble derivative of vitamin C, listed under CAS 108910-78-7 and EINECS 281-602-2. The data sheet gives an assay of 99% minimum and states no other test limits. Skin-care formulators choose it over plain ascorbic acid for water-based serums, creams, lotions and masks because it is less sensitive to light, heat and metal ions, and they often pair it with vitamin E. Before supply, request limits for appearance, pH, loss on drying, heavy metals and free ascorbic acid. Agree too which CAS number your documents should carry: more than one is in use for this salt, and the data sheet does not define its magnesium ratio.
