General Purpose Starch-Filled PP/PE Foaming Resin

This is a general-purpose base resin for converters running their own water-based foaming lines for sheet. The starch fraction displaces virgin polypropylene or polyethylene, lowering the fossil-derived content of the finished sheet while keeping the mechanical behaviour and line settings a polyolefin foam process already expects. It is supplied as a powder compound rather than pellets because the foaming step is water-based and run in-house. Starch loading, melt flow and foam density are set against the buyer's line and target sheet gauge. This grade is bio-based but NOT biodegradable or compostable. The starch content sits in a polypropylene/polyethylene matrix, so it does not meet EN 13432, ASTM D6400 or BPI. It must not be described, labelled or marketed as biodegradable or compostable. Supplied as a raw material for processing on the buyer's own line. We do not produce finished articles.
