Rose Centifolia Floral Wax is an aromatic waxy material recovered during the manufacture of Rosa centifolia absolute. It is a mixture rather than a single purified compound: the solid fraction retains fragrance constituents that contribute its characteristic rose odour. In anhydrous systems, the wax can be evaluated as part of the solid lipid phase for consistency and fragrance delivery.
