Adding starch as a third component to a PLA/PBAT system lowers the resin cost and raises the bio-based fraction, at some cost in mechanical performance and moisture sensitivity relative to the two-component blends. This is the grade for general-purpose film where the specification has headroom and the economics matter. Where the film has a demanding tear, barrier or food-contact requirement, one of the dedicated compounds is the better starting point. Supplied as a raw material for processing on the buyer's own line. We do not produce finished articles.
