About This Product
A coffee capsule faces near-boiling water under pressure for the length of the extraction. Most compostable polymers deform well below that. This grade is rated to 95C specifically for the application. The capsule also has to hold a seal and puncture cleanly, and the barrier requirement for coffee freshness is usually met by a separate lidding or barrier layer rather than by the body resin alone. Supplied as a raw material for processing on the buyer's own line. We do not produce finished articles.
