Pineapple leaf is a residue of fruit harvesting, normally burned or left to rot. Used as reinforcement it raises the stiffness and strength of the polymer while displacing part of the resin with a material that would otherwise be waste. The result is a biocomposite with both a higher renewable content and better mechanical performance than the unfilled compound. Natural fibre affects flow and moisture uptake, so drying and processing conditions differ from the unfilled grades and should be reviewed before a first trial. Supplied as a raw material for processing on the buyer's own line. We do not produce finished articles.
