    PEG-8 Beeswax

PEG-8 Beeswax – Cosmetic & Personal Care product from Bio Green Chem

    About This Product

PEG-8 Beeswax is a modified beeswax ingredient that retains a wax-like component while introducing polyethylene-glycol functionality. The modification changes its interaction with other formulation materials compared with untreated beeswax. It is supplied under its own ingredient identity and should not be treated as an alternative name for ordinary beeswax. The derivative is used for consistency building, binding, spreading and dispersion in cosmetic systems. Its non-ionic character also supports emulsifying functions, with the actual behaviour governed by the surrounding oil phase and other emulsifiers. In colour and anhydrous formulations, evaluate how it affects pigment wetting, cohesion and application properties rather than selecting it solely by the word wax. Confirm the declared INCI, supplied form and composition of the nominated grade. Because the feedstock is beeswax, animal-origin requirements should be addressed during ingredient selection. Review compatibility, thermal processing and final-product stability using the current technical documentation and a representative sample.
