PEG-75 Lanolin

About This Product
PEG-75 Lanolin is a lanolin derivative modified with polyoxyethylene chains. Ethoxylation increases the hydrophilic character of the original wax-derived material, creating a non-ionic ingredient with different water compatibility from anhydrous lanolin. Its chemistry combines a lanolin-derived portion with a polyethylene-glycol contribution. The ingredient is used for wetting, solubilising and emulsifying functions, alongside emollient and superfatting roles in suitable cleansing systems. It can be considered where a formulation needs lanolin-associated properties with greater compatibility in an aqueous environment. Performance varies with the supplied form and active concentration, so a solution grade must not be assumed equivalent to an undiluted material. Confirm the exact INCI, physical form, active content and any carrier or additives. The offered physical form and active-content specification govern both dosage and handling. Review animal-origin requirements, compatibility and product stability before approving the material for the intended application.
