Methylenedioxyphenyl methylpropanal (CAS 1205-17-0), chemically 2-methyl-3-(3,4-methylenedioxyphenyl)propanal, is an aromatic aldehyde offered at 99% purity. The liquid ranges from colourless to light yellow, its odour mixes floral, green, aldehydic and ozone-like notes, and it keeps for 24 months stored cool and dry, away from strong light and heat. Perfumers use it to build fresh floral accords such as lilac, where it brings an airy, ozone-like lift to the heart of the blend.
