About This Product
Hot drinks are exactly where compostable straws fail: unmodified PLA softens well below the temperature of a fresh coffee or tea. This grade carries a heat-resistant modification rated to 80C. It runs on the same tube extrusion equipment as the cold drink grade, so one line can produce both. Supplied FDA compliant for food contact. Supplied as a raw material for processing on the buyer's own line. We do not produce finished articles.
