Where foamed sheet must satisfy a flame-retardancy requirement, this grade carries the FR additive package within the same starch-filled polyolefin base as the general-purpose resin, so a converter can move between grades without reworking the line. The applicable standard and test method depend on the end use and the sheet gauge; the specific classification achievable is confirmed against your target before supply. This grade is bio-based but NOT biodegradable or compostable. The starch content sits in a polypropylene/polyethylene matrix, so it does not meet EN 13432, ASTM D6400 or BPI. It must not be described, labelled or marketed as biodegradable or compostable. Supplied as a raw material for processing on the buyer's own line. We do not produce finished articles.
