About This Product

This ester alcohol is the industry-standard coalescing aid for water-borne latex coatings. It temporarily softens the polymer particles so they fuse into a continuous film as the water leaves, then diffuses out of the film, improving film formation at low temperature along with scrub resistance, adhesion and touch-up. Offered as a generic equivalent; Texanol is a trademark of its respective owner. Supplied with a current safety data sheet, certificate of analysis and the transport documentation required for its classification. Bulk and blended grades are quoted on request.
