About This Product
Paper coated with polyethylene is difficult to repulp and difficult to compost, which leaves coated board in an awkward position in both waste streams. A biodegradable coating resin changes that calculation. This compound is formulated for extrusion coating and lamination onto paper and board: adhesion to the substrate, draw-down at coating weights, and edge stability on the line. Coating weight and the resulting barrier are set against the pack and its contents. Supplied as a raw material for processing on the buyer's own line. We do not produce finished articles.
