EDM - Ethylene Glycol Dimethyl Ether(DME)
About This Product
Both hydroxyl groups are capped, so monoglyme is aprotic and chemically inert towards reagents that attack alcohols. Its chelating ether oxygens solvate metal cations strongly, which is why the glyme series is used in organometallic chemistry and battery electrolytes. Supplied with a current safety data sheet, certificate of analysis and the transport documentation required for its classification. Bulk and blended grades are quoted on request.
