PVC Internal and External Lubricant

Some lubricants are partially compatible with PVC and therefore act internally and externally at the same time, dissolving in the melt to reduce chain friction while the excess migrates to the surface to control release. A single addition then covers both functions, which simplifies a formulation and reduces the risk of unbalancing it. These grades are supplied as powders in 25 kg paper-plastic composite bags. JX-LB-316 and JX-LB-316A are declared for PVC cable filler, TPE process aids, hot melt adhesives, PVC processing and emulsion. JX-LB-925 covers the same applications. JX-LB-629A is directed at PVC stabilisers, PVC and CPVC processing and wax emulsion. The wax emulsion application is worth noting: these materials are used not only inside PVC compounds but as the wax phase of emulsions supplied to other industries.
