    About This Product

Fischer-Tropsch Wax is a synthetic hydrocarbon wax produced through Fischer-Tropsch chemistry and subsequent product separation or finishing. These waxes are rich in paraffinic components, commonly with a strongly linear character. Chain-length distribution and finishing determine the thermal and mechanical properties of an individual grade. FT waxes are used across industrial formulations to adjust hardness, surface behaviour and processing characteristics. Their role depends on the selected form: a bulk wax blended into a molten phase behaves differently from a micronised powder dispersed in a coating. The material should therefore be specified by its actual grade and function rather than by the broad synthetic-wax name alone. Selected cosmetic formulation enquiries require a separate review of composition, purity, ingredient identity and intended-market documentation. Agree melting or congealing behaviour, hardness, viscosity and supplied form, including particle-size information when relevant. Assess oil-phase compatibility and finished-product stability before considering the nominated grade for personal-care manufacture.
