Why does DB suit soak-tank and long-contact cleaning?
Its boiling point is above 220 degrees Celsius and its vapour pressure is very low, so it does not flash off from a hot surface or evaporate out of a soak tank. The solvent keeps working through an extended contact time, contributes almost nothing to VOC, and produces little solvent odour in the workplace.
