Soy Wax

About This Product
Soy wax is based on soybean oil that has been hydrogenated to increase its solid fraction. Its underlying chemical class is glycerides rather than the long-chain monoesters characteristic of several hard natural waxes. Partial and full hydrogenation, fraction selection and blending produce materials with different melting and crystallisation profiles. In a formulation, soy wax can provide consistency, emollient character and a smoother oil-rich texture. A harder grade may reinforce the structure, while a softer or blended grade may contribute a more yielding feel. Cooling history influences the developed crystalline network and can affect appearance or texture during storage. Bio Green Chem reviews the requested hydrogenation level, ingredient declaration, refining quality and oxidation-related limits. Assess the offered grade for oil compatibility, surface uniformity and stability in the finished system. Record any additives or blend components so that the technical specification, ingredient declaration and intended use describe the same material.
