    RBD Palm Olein

RBD Palm Olein – Further Formulation Enquiries product from Bio Green Chem

    About This Product

Palm Olein is the liquid fraction separated from palm oil during fractionation. It remains a triglyceride mixture, but its composition and crystallisation behaviour differ from the higher-melting palm stearin fraction. Refined, bleached and deodorised material is commonly described as RBD palm olein; the fraction and processing history should be stated in the specification. For formulators, liquid behaviour must be considered over the actual storage and processing temperatures. Cooling can change clarity and produce crystallisation, so the word liquid does not promise clarity under every condition. Cloud point, fatty-acid composition and the balance with other lipids are practical considerations when assessing a proposed oil-phase blend. Personal-care and cosmetic sourcing is available on enquiry, subject to confirmation of the offered grade. Discuss the intended role, fraction, refining documentation and analytical limits, including acid and peroxide values. Evaluate temperature cycling, colour, odour and compatibility in the intended system before selecting the material for cosmetic manufacture.
